New best 1/4 at Crandall

First time going to a 1/4 mile track in many years and I wanted to get a 9 sec. time slip out of it. First pass right off the trailer it went a 9.96@132mph with a 1.45 60ft on my lowest boost setting around 12lbs. But I thought something was wrong because my 1/8th mile times and mph were down by over a tenth and 4mph... So I made a second pass and turned the boost up on my Eboost 2., Well it went even slower 10.5@128mph. Ok so something is wrong. I'm thinking maybe the trans it too hot. I let it cool for a couple of hours. Make a 3rd pass. 11.00@122. and I was only seeing 10lbs of boost. Now I load it up and take the car home because something isn't right. Well come to find out that I had a big hold in one of my couplers connecting my charge pipe to the intercooler. I could stick three fingers in it. So I'm going to fix that and go back next week and see if I can't run a 9.6 like I think the car should be able to run. Even with the bad leak I was happy that I got my 9 second pass like I wanted.

That awesome you got a 9 on your first pass. Same thing happened to me my first time at crandall with the new motor. 9.6's should be no problem when everything is right on your car.

Shit no. As much shit as I've broke at the track. Screw that when you have a trailer. I went to the track yesterday and when I was about to load it up to go home. My power stering pump line busted. Fluid went everywhere. Lucky I wasn't going down the track at the time. The line was up against the hot side. I'm going to get a new line and rerout it to move it away from the hot side.

Yup, when I get some bigger injectors so I can turn it up to 25psi it might run damn good. Lately I've only been running around 16-17lbs. still have a lot of room to go.
