    There's an upcoming 10.5" race, in Amarillo on Labor Day Weekend with some badass payouts



    Rules


    Hot Street
    1/8 mile heads up.
    .400 Pro tree

    Chassis:
    Stock Front frame rails and Smith Race Craft bolt on Front Ends only. Must be in stock location. Aftermarket control arms and bushings allowed, bolted in stock locations.
    Rack and Pinion steering allowed.
    Aftermarket strut is allowed
    Aftermarket Coil over shocks allowed
    ALL replacement parts must be in stock location
    K-Members allowed (late model Mustangs, Camaro and Firebirds)
    Mini Tubs allowed.
    Back half allowed with stipulations (See Odie)
    Stock suspension or ladder bar only
    Motor Plate and Mid Plate allowed
    relocated rear coil over shocks allowed
    No wheelie bars

    Body:
    Firewall must be in stock location, minor modifications for trans, etc, is OK.
    Unaltered floor pan. Floor may be altered for thru the floor sub-frame connectors, etc. Floor
    pans must be from back of front seat to firewall.

    Tires:
    12” wheel max
    28x10.5w
    29.5 10.5 Tread width only, No Hoosier part # 18192D05 allowed.
    12.5 sidewall designation DOT Tires max not to exceed 10.5 inches of tread
    315/60R/15 or smaller drag radial allowed.
    325/50R/15 allowed.

    No Traction Devices Allowed

    Power Adders:
    NITROUS; Two bottles are allowed when being y'd together into one #6 line. if bottles are in the trunk there must be only one # 6 line leaving the trunk, If inside the car only one #6 line coming from a Y, no more than 12" from the bottles and before reaching firewall, Y must be visible for teching.

    BLOWER; F1R only.

    NO TURBO

    Air to Liquid Intercooler.
    E85 is allowed
    No Alcohol

    Transmission:
    Automatic or factory equipped manual, no Bruno or Lenco etc.

    Engines:
    Mass produced cast aluminum intakes only. Single Carb.

    Heads:
    Billet or custom fabricated heads prohibited.
    Big Block cylinder heads must retain 24 deg. style port/valve configurations. N0 18* heads
    allowed. Small block ci no max limit

    Exhaust:
    Mufflers Required.
    No Insert or Collector mufflers.

    Small block Weight
    23* SBC head, (nitrous)1 kit......... 2700lb
    20* SBF head (nitrous) 1Kit...........2700lb
    18 and 15*heads (nitrous)1 kit..... 2800 lb
    All other Heads nitrous) 1 Kit........2900lb
    More then one kit must be capped at solenoids.


    Blower Small block.....................3200 lb
    Blower Small block Neal Yates SB2......3250 lb
    No Nitrous and Induction combo allowed.

    Big Block Weight
    Big block Big Chief style heads
    naturally aspirated only..................... 3250lb
    605 CI or smaller (Nitrous) 1 kit..............3250 lb
    606-638 CI, 10.2 deck heights (Nitrous) 1 kit..3400 lb
    other kits must be capped at solenoids.
    Forced induction...............................3450 lb




    Mod Street



    1/8 mile heads up.
    .400 Pro tree

    Class Description:
    Nitrous class with a single stage nitrous plate. One nitrous and one fuel entry. no two stage plate used. One nitrous and one fuel solenoid, One purge solenoid. One Nitrous bottle.
    Purge must be inline with nitrous and one supply line.
    Aftermarket blocks and cylinder heads.
    No sheet metal intakes
    Single carburetor.
    Motor plates and solid mounts.
    Engine in stock location not touching firewall.
    Other kits should be capped.
    If one combination dominates, nitrous jet will be limited in size.

    Front Chassis And Suspension:
    Stock front frame rails.
    Aftermarket K-members, control arms and bushings(Stock location) utilizing control arms when equipped.
    Aftermarket steering box and rack and pinions.
    After market springs and struts. (Stock Location) Direct bolt on.
    Coil over Kits.

    Rear Chassis Suspension:
    Stock rear frame rails and suspension.
    Minor notching allowed.
    Bolt on traction aids.
    Aftermarket control arms, springs, shocks, must utilize stock mounting points on frame rails.
    Relocation of shocks with coil over package. Mini tubs.
    Ladder bars utilizing stock frame rails.
    Pre 1950 model cars are exempt from having to use the stock framerail.

    Firewall:
    Stock Firewall. (factory location).
    Minor notching.

    Transmission:
    Any OEM type automatic or manual transmissions.

    Wheels And Tires:
    28 x 10.5 slicks or smaller, sidewall designation.
    No W tires.
    275 drag radial.
    12" max wheel.

    No Traction Control Devices Allowed.

    Engine:
    4150 carb only.
    No throttle body style 4150
    Small Block Chevy 18* head max.
    Small Block Ford inline 15* head max.
    Big Block conventional head only.
    Non conventional head naturally aspirated, single carb.
    Buick, olds, pontiac, and caddilac run at small block weight. 440ci max.

    Exhaust:
    Mufflers Required. No Insert or Collector mufflers.

    Weights:
    Small block 3000 lb
    Big block 3300 lbs





    General Rules:
    Deep staging allowed.

    Whats up with NO TURBO'S? But u can run a F1r. There should be at else a max size that turbo guys can run.

            Another class scared of turbos? Turbos aren't allowed but you can run a SB2 headed F1R setup? Lmao.

                          I think the dude putting the race together did use the midweststreetcars rules.

                          So there's no more nitrous cars down there that are fast? That's one helluva payout, IMO.
