Nice save, why is the lighting so poor there? Or is it just the video?

It's both. It is dark there, especially past the boards.

Just makes the save even better then. I ran at Wichita raceway and after the E.T. boards is no lights, scared the crap out of me.

Wow, that got nasty real fast. Looked like a couple donuts at the end. Very nice to see it stayed on the ground, way to keep the shiny side up.

            Oh, and DANG.

Makes one reconsider the use of plastic under hood completely, especially at those speeds. Great save! I would have shit brix.

I agree, and it's times like this that re-enforce our argument. I do a LOT of work for other people, and it's often that I point out videos like this for people who don't want to spend that extra coin on 'trivial' stuff.

Exactly! The trivial is what causes MOST catastrophes. This is true in sooo many things, not just racing. Like FOD in/on aircraft, tarmac, etc. Random things left on train tracks, etc. The rails don't fail, it's the little crap around them. Aircraft engines typically don't fail, it's the shit that gets sucked into them. Brakes don't fail, it's the weak point in the line or the pinch point that was "thought" not to be an issue "most" of the time. The Devil IS in the details. If it goes fast, hard, strong, or long it needs every component to act like THAT component is the one that will fail. You know it better than I. Fast, cheap, good. Pick 2.

Who owns that car now? We did some tuning on that car at a TeX275 event and out in Midland in WTTTF for Marcus L when he owned it.

It's owned by the guy he traded to- Billy Swiney.

                          Good deal.

It has a lot more potential in it, if you know what to look for.
