2011 5.0

I swear this is the first Fox I have owned that has got this kinda of milage. I have a Electric Fan & Alum DS waiting to go on & see if it does any better. I think 3.27s would be more fun then the 3.08s I have now!
It is a POS, But its a paid off POS that gets decent milage & its fun to drive. The kids love it way more then the GTP. They loved the Supercharger. But like this pile bolts way better. Even with the Rattles.

Back on topic! Got to love 5.0s, Cars are like woman to me, Im not prejudice no matter what style or make it is. I like em all BABY!:wink1:

I love 5.0's too. had a 90 notch. 85 GT. they are all fun.

I'm not talking just about you but it seems there are a lot of newbies on this site that weren't on the other with 5.0's. I just remember from the other site when a newb join the site they always had a pos car and not the newest thing out. I don't know it's just weird to me.

I had some Fox cars. I really like driving this new 5.0. Handling is pretty damn amazing. You can get it sideways and it's controllable. My foxes that I had were a tough one to handle. This car just responds to everything you do. The EPAS is another really awesome thing. Basically it is manual steering until you are in a parking lot sort of.

I think so too, but I am not powershifting and having to go easy on launch. it has also been 100+ degrees. I hope to drop the time a tad more with some cooler air.

28mpg? I call BS. lol. A stock one brand new back in the day running in perfect condition never got that kind of mileage, let alone that beat up turd you got from Lee. lol.

Thats pretty easy to believe steve. My 89 with ford racing hci and other typical bolts ons would run 12.7's on motor at around 104 and got 27-28 hwy with the ac on. Even my 95 before i pulled the motor was averaging 25-26 hwy and 20 in town..

Too bad it sucks that those new 5.0s are so slow. I hope you get a time that's equivalent to a 1989 5.0L coupe with drag radials, 14* timing and BBK shorties!
