Me and terminator03 bolt a few things on his cobra to put down over 600 rw and almost 800 tq. It's not to hard to bolt on a couple parts on these new cars to get big numbers.

x2, Im curious myself. My daughters mother has a 4.0 V6 that is pretty quick for just Cold Air & Tune & it runs 9.60s, I hear the new 3.7s are good for 8.90s with the same mods. I imagine with pullys & gears it would be close. But I still think the HCI 5.0 would winOriginally posted by 03shadow4v View PostSo is this 2011 v6 vs coupe ever gonna happen ?GOD BLESS TEXAS

A good running STOCK MOTOR coupe is for 8.20s with gears and slicks.Originally posted by SEB View Postx2, Im curious myself. Haha
The new v6 runs damn good, and will have a higher top speed then a fox.
But in the 1/8 and 1/4 mile it's all v8.
Standing mile MPH in a stock fox is around 130mph. Idk on the v6?

You have a heads/cam/intake coupe and you only ran an 8.52? What heads are they, E6?Originally posted by 91CoupeMike View PostThe slicks were given to me for free, theyre old and dry. They spin like a mofo.
I went from 2.0 60ft on street tires running 9.0
To a 8.57 1.96 60ft on those slicks.
My best was a 8.52 at 1.86 60ft.
Yep I can't drive.
Either you have a completely mis matched combination or some serious tuning issues and the heaviest coupe on the planet.
I haven't taken my 92 LX to the track, but I would expect it to run in the mid 8s 1/8 mile or low 13s 1/4 mile. Its a stock E7 headed, stock intake, stock throttle body and maf motor. Has an E303 and roller rockers, full exhaust, electric fan, pulleys, cold air, 5 speed with a triax, and 3.73 gears in it. I was told the guy ran 13.70s with it before I got it and he had a good 80 lbs on me and bald street tires. The 2011 V6 from what I hear runs bottom 14s to high 13s stock. A couple of mods and maybe low 13s on motor.
Now, carry on so I can read the rest of this thread LOL.Carl S.

That makes more sense then, ie the stock heads/cam/intake. The poll says a H/C/I coupe vs a 2011 V6, so I was assuming this was your coupe and you had HCI on it running those times.Originally posted by 91CoupeMike View PostMy mods include.
Alum d/s
3.73s
UnderDrive pullies
E fans
And it comes across the scale at 2740lbs with ponies on the rear.
2900lb race weight.
If it were h/c/I and I ran anything slower then a 7.9 I'd be pissed.
Yes a guessed at HCI combination should run at least mid to low 12s 1/4 mile with a decently matched combination dipping into the mid to high 11s on motor.
You'll have to forgive my 1/8 to 1/4 conversion, I'm not used to converting slower ETs LOL.Carl S.
