Found out my Fox body has ran the same 1/8th as this thing. So he's only got me on handling, top end, fuel mileage, comfort, looks, reliability! Almost winning!

At 500 rwhp i averaged 29mpg over 2 tanks of 90% freeway..
At 760 rwhp i averaged 23 mpg with 50% freeway and a bunch of spirited driving.. Bumper to bumper killed i..15-20 mpg at just tooling around town... Measured by doing a full tank.. Driving x miles and filling back up..

i am getting an honest 23-24mpg combined per my obd in my 08 c6, this is bone stock though, i have heard there is mpg to be had with a tune (which i will be doing very soon)

I bet that ZR1's exhaust system cost a lot more then my entire turbo setup!

tru dat, while our c6 is just a base bone stocker, it makes a nice mid point between a regular car and the coupe. i am ready to start modding it now though!

Why does everyone with a vette brag about mileage? I call bs to all of them. Maybe 15 or less would be more acurate.

My 2002 C5A4, back when it had all the mods on it, was my daily driver and I never noticed much drop in mileage and this was around town, never on the road. It had 3.90's, Kumar's loaner heads, LT's, free flowing cat and mufflers, all out race tranny, FAST intake and numerous types of cold air setups. Tuned by Jeff for the 1/4 mile, buy still ran nice around town, albeit the cam was a tad rough!

Best I remember in town it was 18 -20 mpg, depending on the ambient air temps...better in the winter, worse in the heat of summer, but never. ever 15 mpg. Well, maybe there were a few 15 mpg times, but that was when Jeff was driving it (10.6X's) down the 1/4 mile!

In case anyone forgot (old timers may remember this), here is my 2002 C5A4 at its best, at Hallsville (I sure miss that drag strip). I had lost the video and a friend just sent it to me.

This is my son, Jeff, driving it. He did all the tuning, driving and installation of the bolt on mods. I just provided the pocketbook. We sure had fun in those days!

Most likely getting 10 - 12 mpg on this run!
