on this site its posted that the dfwmustang fall cruise 2012 is in october BUT on texas raceways site its on NOVEMBER 3RD. what gives?

There was a conflict with another BIG race that was the original planned date. I requested a different date a few weeks back, and never got a final word - but since it's on the calendar, it appears to be moved.
