Same here. I don't know if I can fab up the turbo kit get it tuned and broken in by then either. BTW it doesn't look like I'll have my motor together tomorrow. I'm going out hog hunting, time to do a little population control on my buddys land....

Not really talking shit, but last time I saw Dan racing at the track a few months ago..it sounded like a rod wanted to take a early vacation! I was knocking really bad, but Dan was still making pass after pass.

It wasn't a rod Chris one of my Vband clamps came loose and turned a little bit and the bolt part was hitting the crank pulley. First time I heard it I thought it was a rod too but saw the bolt rubbing on the crank. I fixed it a few days earlier then it happened again. I didn't tighten it up good enough. I took the clamp off that night and turned it and tightened it down with an impact and it never moved again or made any sound. I knew what the sound was and that is why I kept on making passes even though it didn't run that great that night. Couldn't make boost on the line and it would only stall up to 2800 rpms.
