Ran a cammed 93 cobra today.

The "mongoose" is a Mach 1 eaton swap with bolt ons.

It's no cobra killer. Because a real cobra can hold more boost and has a t56.

If your slow bucket beat a cobra it must have had one horrible driver. No matter what year cobra.

that would be mine. =) he just pulled on me through the rpm band. nothing i can do about that lol. i didnt run it passed 5500 but really wouldnt matter. i think something isnt quite running right in my car. im going to have it tore down and port the heads and put another cam other than the e303 in it (thinking anderson n21 or FTI custom). and stick a new clutch in it and see what happens.

Spoken like a true horrible driver. When I first got my car I was shifting it down at 6400 and running 115 mph traps. Now I know the car slot better and shift it at 7000-7100 and it trapped 124. So that wouldn't have mattered if I shifting higher crap is rediculos

no lol im saying i dont like to run it up that high because it feels like the cam is falling on its face... i baby my car alot so anytime i run it up that high i get kinda antsy...seeing as it is my only car in college and id like to take care of it =).

I run faster shifting as close to 5300 as possible. Any higher is a waste of time.

I can find you a Mustang II Cobra race, I think. Those cars came from the factory with a 302 that had 139hp at the flywheel. I don't think this one is stock, but I don't think it is too much for you to handle.
