Nos launcher is what id use. It has so many adjustments and safetys built in. Really nice piece.

I have the simple and cheap NOS Mini Controller and so far it has done alright for me on a single entry plate .130 jet. But not a lot of super fine tuning with it. Just a flat ramp rate with a start percent, end percent, and length of the ramp. You can also delay it up to 9.9 seconds if you wanted. It also has a window switch built in and some other features. All good features, but the main thing it is needed for is controlling the hit of the nitrous and that function is just the basic straight line ramp. I've been 1.27 on First Gen Mickey Radials in Ultra Street trim. Now the guys that are really $hittin and Gittin have programmable ignitions and are ramping in timing to control tire spin and bringing all the nitrous in very quickly (so the controller isn't quite as important in that case).
