Those were good racing days back thenOriginally posted by BoostedGT View PostMan you guys are bringing up awesome memories... I was in high school going out to Regal Row, Royal Lane, Luna, NW Hwy. It was like the circuit. Cops would come to one spot and we just make the rotation till everyone was tired of racing. I can remember Regal Row being back up three wide under the bridge and up the hill.

back in the late 90's and early 2000's there was a dude that looked like he was every bit of 300 pounds driving a red fox gt. he would always leave me hard at the line and be in third before i ever got into second. he always shut down before i could fetch him. i hated that guy.
it was a circuit like said above. so many miles put on the car going from royal to northwest highway. then you go to regal row and back to royal.
white swan was my favorite though. always seemed safer than the rest.

Were you out there for the huge shakedown they had in the late 90's. I think the cops showed up around 11 or so and blocked the road. I didn't get out of there until about 4:30a. They cited everyone for 'participating in an illegal street race.' LOLOriginally posted by krazy kris View PostI remember railhead in blue mound used to be very hot. You could ssee smoke from 820 it looked like a clip out of Fast&Furious with all the people there. There was a lot of bad wrecks out there and things fizzled out. One car went through a building, a car flipped in the middle of the road, a guy died after he hit a parked big rig trailer.
What was hilarious are all the passengers crossed the field to go to a Wendys or some fast food joint that was still open. Looked like an INS gathering.
Yeah that was great. The secret was to just leave, but there would always be someone tearing out that would get the attention of the police. Once cops showed up one night, even before any of us could get to our cars, one tore of, cops went after him and he did the "widow maker" up the embankment onto 635 and the cop couldn't follow him. Good shit.Originally posted by BoostedGT View PostMan you guys are bringing up awesome memories... I was in high school going out to Regal Row, Royal Lane, Luna, NW Hwy. It was like the circuit. One memory was when a satellite or something came into orbit and streaked across the sky as the races were going out at Manana. It was so peaceful and graceful as the good times kept going underneath. Then the helicopters..it will light the interior like a mofo if you have a sunroof. Thought I was gonna get a tan blazing me down the road

Well there was one out there that matches your description...it had Lonestar performance stickers on it...I think it was a 7.0 8th mile car back then.Originally posted by jammeejamm View Postno idea.
