That sucks, kinda takes the joy out of the hobby for ya. Sorry to hear it. I'm very lucky, my wife enjoys her Mustang very much and cruising is something we have done together for a very long time and will continue to do so.

No, not really. She loved going to the KOTH. I think she feels left out when I'm out screwing around with the car. I think to bridge that gap I might have to go out and buy her a little coupe or something.

Hell yeah, it's better to get her involved rather than kill your own hobby. Then it makes birthday/christmas shopping easy buying her parts.

Im glad to know that my wife isnt the only one interested in the hobby. When we were at True Street saturday getting my car dynoed she was almost as excited as i was. Told her i will have to look at getting her a mustang of her own pretty soon.

It's both really. She doesn't mind spending the money when it's a car she likes. The issues that come with buying someone else's project definetely doesn't help anything with that. I've had the car since the end of November and only driven it a few times, never once under any kind of boost yet. Just limping it back and forth to the shop. Spending money on a car we don't have or had much at all irritates her.Once the issues are sorted out, this car will be fun as hell for sure.

It's also now that we are older she's over the whole buying a beater thing. She likes the newer cars more (as does almost everyone else), they are nicer and more fun, safer, more stable. With a Gt500 she'd have no issue with putting the carseat in the back and let the baby ride in it. That ain't going to happen with the 98. lol
