Mavs up 51-49 at the half... nice job of withstanding the mini LA run.

possibly justintv or something but doubtful.

y'all all need to invest in Monsoon Multimedia's Vulkano box. it's just like sling box, but:

    cheaper ($100 on buy.com)
better quality (native widescreen, up to 720p)
free app for iphone/android (vs $30 for slingbox)
    pc and mac applications.

Solid game so far, hope they keep it up! Haywood needs to be more aggressive!

I wouldn't go that far at all. It's gonna be a tough series any way you look at it. I'm still pumped about the win last night. That was HUGE! Several sports analysts had the Lakers winning in 7 and I bet they assumed the Lakers would win the first game at home. I thought Kidd and Marion were pretty awful last night (how many freaking turnovers did kidd have?!?!?) and the Mavs rebounding sucked early on. The thing I feel most positive about last night is I think that it was a pretty bad offensive performance and they still won! You know the Lakers are going to step it up in Game 2 but the Mavs should be able to play a better offensive game as well.

Can't wait until the next game! I'm also interested to see what happens with OKC and Memphis...

I think Peja has the chance to be huge in this series. If he's hitting shots and scores double figures, that means the rest of the offense should be getting good looks too because they're spacing the floor. I think I saw a stat in the Portland series where if Peja was in double digits for the game, the Mavs were undefeated or had only lost 1 game...something like that.
