The nice thing is...that was far from the Mavs best game. I'd only rate them as a B for the game...and only that high because they show grit and toughness and overcame the 16 pt deficit. Of course, that wasn't the Lakers' best game either.
Agree for the most part, but the only that i'd like to add is the bench played extremely well so I might lean closer to B+. If we can get contributions from JJB, Peja, and Brewer I think we are going to be a tough out in this series. Peja and JJB played well in the Portland series. I hope they keep it up. Lakers bench is nonexistent, even more so if they move Odom into starter-like minutes to cover Dirk.

    GO MAVS!!! MFFL!!!!

Man you could see those damn refs trying to give the game to LA, it looked like Mark Cubans vein in his head was about to explode! I couldn't believe the calls at the end of the first half, hell I'm suprised they won.

In all honesty, LA made some critical mistakes in the final 25ish seconds. Gasol fouled Dirk on an inbound pass, and there was another foul that sent Kidd to the line. Kobe had a last second attempt to tie it up, but the ball hit the backside of the rim and didn't fall.

Mavs weren't that awful. They played pretty decent. Would have liked to see a few players with more points, and less offensive turnovers. They were up or in it most of the game, other than when LA jumped out to a 16 point or so lead to start the second half. Mavs brought it right back, but then went cold for a short time, giving LA the advantage again. Then LA went cold and Dallas got hot at the right time. But really, it really came down to rookie mistakes in the final 25 seconds. Without the Gasol foul, LA would have won IMO.

Nice win last night. Kind of getting the feeling that things are slowly coming unglued for the lake show.

If the Mavs can win ten more games, I'm going to start getting excited.

Looking at the box...it shows he was inactive for the game. They had Mahinmi and Cardinal ready to go, but didn't use them.

Roddy, Butler, and DoJo were the inactives.

Lots of steals. If the Mavs had done a better job protecting the ball when they had it, they could have won by 10-15.

LA can't play Bynum much, due to matchups. They are having to roll with Fisher this series.
