The talent wasn't the issue, the fact that he looks like an idiot was. And he still looks like an idiot when he goes down on his knee to swing (but he hasn't done that today ).

He's a good player, I still don't think he's a better fielder than Young, not an overall better hitter than Young, but he's definitely got more power than Young. I think they could've gone with Beltre as the DH and kept Young at third and been just fine, except Beltre couldn't (wouldn't?) have been as versatile. But that's just my uninformed opinion.

And yay Adams!

Everyone besides Beltre has struggled, offensively. Pitching has been excellent throughout though. Harrison got fucked on the second run -- batter should have been out on the previous pitch. Off to work now, so I'm sure it will be wrapped up by the time I arrive. Keeping my fingers crossed!

Well I've only watched a bit of Game 3 so I cant tell how they are hitting. It seems that Beltre and Napoli have been carrying the teams offense in this series. Also Gentry has been getting good hits.

Sounds like the move to sign Beltre and basically have him replace Vlad is a good move so far. I know its been said alot, how are we looking. Cant watch it or listen to it at work?
