I think that the thing that drives me the most crazy about this stupid rule is the fact that it is "intended" to make the players actually play for real in the All-star game. NOT to actually make an improvement to the WS, seriously?? we are hurting WS play in a failed attempt to make the all-star game more exciting.Originally posted by pHILSANITY07 View Postits complete bullshit, all this because of a tied game in 2002. This is why bud Selig sucks as a Commish. Let the records decide it.
Yes Selig sucks

The All Star game is just an game full of the leagues favorite and best players. I dont watch the All-Star Game, the only thing I watch is the Home Run Derby. Also stop fucking that up too.Originally posted by GTBrian23 View PostI think that the thing that drives me the most crazy about this stupid rule is the fact that it is "intended" to make the players actually play for real in the All-star game. Home run derby is already messed up ..
No one wants to hit in it because .."it ruins my swing"
And, players are just using the excuse , I'm hurt put me on the DL for 7 days and they go to the beach instead .
They quit caring about the fans a long time ago

I'm watching sports center, and every one of those c$#k suckers are swinging by their teeth on the nuts of the cards. The Rangers are never mentioned as they have a chance to win it all. Please Rangers shut these yuppy faggots up and show them what you can do. Bring the full wrath of Arlington on the cards! That's all.
to all the espn commentators.

Because you do what it takes to win? This is the World Series, not a game in early May.Originally posted by Avery'sDad View PostCan someone fill me in on why Hamilton is in the lineup? If he is as injured as they say, then why wouldn't they bench him?How do we forget ourselves? How do we forget our minds?

Because he has been injured since the postseason began, and has still produced. He was had probably the most underrated ALCS performance with 4 doubles, 5 RBI's and a .308 average. Not to mention he was excellent in the field.Originally posted by Avery'sDad View PostCan someone fill me in on why Hamilton is in the lineup? His injury has drained some of his power but he can still get on base and move the runners around. Which I think would be more than Endy or Gentry would do

Hamilton's 0-4 last night wouldn't have been so bad, but he had some awful at-bats. Also the guys before and after him were just as bad. When 2-3-4 in the line-up go 0-11, you're going to have trouble winning.Originally posted by GTBrian23 View PostBecause he has been injured since the postseason began, and has still produced. He did have some very bad at bats last night, I think it was more on the pitching than his injury, because like you said 2-4 hitters all looked pretty terrible. I look for them to pick it up tonight, got a pitcher coming in that has been giving up lots of runs. Just what the Rangers need right now!Originally posted by Vertnut View PostHamilton's 0-4 last night wouldn't have been so bad, but he had some awful at-bats.
