So, the haters sure have shut the fuck up lately.
Just a few stats to stir the proverbial pot.
Romo has thrown 1 pick in his last 172 passes.
Romo had a QB rating of 148.x on Sunday, after completing 23-26. Only once in his career has he had a higher QB rating, and it was against TB back in 2006 (I believe).
There is not a QB in the league that has a higher 4th quarter QB rating.
So, since those back to back to back to back picks earlier this year, has he turned a corner for good?Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

Sure he has. He has looked otherworldly for the last few games.Originally posted by bcoop View PostSo, the haters sure have shut the fuck up lately.

For Romo, the highs are really high, and the lows are REALLY LOW. He is a rollercoaster that never gets completely off track, he just goes up and down and throws you all over the place. You can't believe totally in him because he can't be consistent. And the one season he was consistent, they lost to the Giants in the playoffs, at home.
Not saying he isn't good, because I think he is as talented as every QB with the exception of Brady, Manning and Rodgers. I am saying I don't think he is a leader that is going to carry a team on his back. He needs a complete running game to do it.

I've never really been on his ass, but every time I've given him the benefit of the doubt, I get screwed. I want to see him play like this when there is something ON THE LINE. Until he wins something of consequence, he's kind of the CJ Wilson of football...Originally posted by bcoop View PostSo, the haters sure have shut the fuck up lately.

He's got as many postseason wins as CJ Wilson, and fewer losses!Originally posted by Vertnut View PostI've never really been on his ass, but every time I've given him the benefit of the doubt, I get screwed. EVERY QB needs a complete running game. With the run, you can stretch the field. When your team is one dimensional, you aren't fooling anyone. They know what's coming, when it's coming, and where it's going. That's basic football. The run opens up the pass, and the pass opens up the run. It's not rocket science. Just look at the team as a whole the past 3-4 weeks. Compare it to the beginning of the season. Or hell, even last year. They are looking at their first potential 1,000 yd rusher since 200andfucking6.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostHe needs a complete running game to do it.
I don't disagree with either of those. This was just something to make people think on a slow day.Originally posted by Vertnut View Postbut every time I've given him the benefit of the doubt, I get screwed. I want to see him play like this when there is something ON THE LINE.

I know the two feed off of each other. I am saying he can't be the focal point of the offense. They have made him the focal point for so long and it hasn't gotten them anywhere. Get him a good running game, and then when he has to make plays let him make them. Don't go as far as him being a game manager, but don't let him act like he is Aaron Rodgers. Somewhere right in the middle.Originally posted by bcoop View PostEVERY QB needs a complete running game. With the run, you can stretch the field. Every time he strings together a few good games, we all get suckered into believing that he's finally got it figured out...then he goes out and proves us all wrong. But it's got to stop at some point - he stops having good games, he stops having bad games, or he does both and retires.Originally posted by SS Junk View PostIt's the Tim Tebow syndrome. Tim Tebow can't throw the fucking ball. Romo's consistency throughout a season isn't the best, but he's dead on accurate 95% of the time. Teblow couldn't hit the broadside of Christina's fat ass at 20 yards.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
