Times have changed, and much like the NFL, things are all about safety these days. They are going much faster these days too. I think anyone who is stupid, or immature enough to admit to wrecking another driver on purpose, should be dealt with swift and stern. I get that things get heated, and I can understand that. Doing something intentionally, and bragging about it in an interview is incredibly stupid, and shows a lack of maturity.

I've spun a guy out before, and told the series officials when they asked me about it.

Fucking asshole kept chopping my nose off coming out of two trying to get back down to the bottom of the track to block me causing an unsafe situation, after about the third time of him doing that I just didn't lift and spun his ass out. Fuck that guy.

Because Nascar did not recommend that portion of the inner wall to have the safer barrier. There is a statement from the track they says essentially the same thing.

Since you're opening up this bag, do you also think Earnhardt Sr. should have been banned from Motorsports? There are probably 2 dozen old school NASCAR racers, including Earnhardt Sr., that admitted numerous times to wrecking someone and didn't feel a bit of remorse after the fact. Should Carl Edwards be banned for intentionally wrecking Keselowski a couple of years ago and sending him upside and into the fence at Atlanta??

I saw nothing wrong with what Joey did until his interview after the race. Where he said he deliberately wrecked Denny. He could have said he had to chase it up the track. I'm glad Tony showed signs of fire again like the old days. This may be just what Tony needed.
