JDS will not get pass the first round with Overeem. Currently, there isn't anyone in the UFC who is much threat to Overeem. That is until Josh Barnett finally makes his UFC debut and then Overeem has a good chance of being beaten.

Overeem has the height and weight advantage. This won't be an easy fight for JDS.

And Overeem also has a big reach advantage as well (over 80 inches in arm length in addition to his height advantage.)

Overeem will smash JDS inside of the first round.

Who weighs 290? Reem weighed in at 262 and that was with jeans and shoes on. I'm pretty sure he doesn't cut that much weight, if any, to make the 265 requirement. It's probably all that lean horse meat he eats

I made a statement watching the fights that I think was spot-on... Overeem will weigh in at 245lbs within a year. I tried to give the guy some credit, but he's already looking smaller than his last Strikeforce fight.

I think that is enevitable considering how closely his supplement intake will be monitored here in the states given his history of use and failing tests. That being said, there still isn't anyone currently in the UFC able to handle Overeem until Barnett finishes the StrikeForce Grand Prix.

Absolutely. Overeem said himself he wanted no part of Lesnar on the ground. Brock was a total mess for that fight. At least 25lbs lighter than before he became sick.
