The Rangers. When they signed him, they knew of his off the field problems and gave him a "zero tolerance" policy when it came to his drinking.Originally posted by jdgregory84 View PostWho gives a shit? Hamilton is a great athlete. If he has one or two drinks a year what-the-fuck-ever. However, he does need to drink more milk, so he stops getting hurt. White Russians? He doesn't get paid to be sober. He gets paid to hit dingers and catch......well....dingers.

He goes to Sherlock's, too, not some obscure dive. I'm sure there's pics out there, and Sports Illustrated is probably working on a spread in the next issue. Something like,"How to shit-can a $50 million contract", with Hamilton on the cover.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostI wonder how Kinsler fit into all of it. The word is he went up there to get him to leave. I guess we will find out.

Spot on. Funny how no one has produced a picture of this yet either. I guess no one there had a camera phone. On the radio last night, I heard that Sherlock's is denying he was there. It all seems fishy to me.Originally posted by Slowhand View PostThat said, calling it a full on relapse is a bit premature at this point. All it says is he had a drink, and that's all the information that's out there. I'll hold my judgment.
If it is true, I hope Hambone can fight off these demons again. There are so many people that look up to him and so many kids that want to be him. It hurts to see someone struggle with an addiction, especially if they're a good person. I hope that the whole thing is not true.

Sorry to hear that. If it'll cheer you up, Geor swallows. And even if it doesn't cheer you up, it cheers him up.

Again, it's part of his obligation to the Rangers, and he has even stated that it HAS affected his body and durability over the years. You can't continue to pour poison into your body and expect it to perform at it's optimum level.Originally posted by Wicked98Snake View PostX2 who cares as long as he can performe on the field I don't care if he drinks like Bob Uecker before the game

He said he had 3-4 before Ian got there, then after he dropped him off he went back out and had some more
I take it that he is having problems with the wife ? He hinted around like that anyway ?
He was humble as can be ..
Hope he gets past this latest bump
