As RyanB said maybe I should send them to a third world country where the kids think the Rangers are back to back champs.
Better known as "counting your chickens before they hatch"?

    So who keeps the money?

Not really upset, i honestly didn't expect much from this season when it started. it looked great till about the allstar game but by about August it looked like the wheels fell off. I figured they would still win the division due to the giant lead and fail in the next round but this was an easier out. I don't expect Hamilton back next year. His price fell a lot but some moron team will overpay.

I do think Wash pulled Yu early, but Holland's play was inexcusable. Oh well....
I don't "blame" Warsh, because he doesn't hit, catch, or pitch, but he didn't do a lot to help, either. The team errors were down a lot from past years, which is to his credit, but they were really high to begin with. Pitching/bullpen decisions were a lot of times, questionable, at best (especially down the stretch). Base-running was atrocious all season long. Couple that with a .195 hitting catcher that couldn't throw out a one-legged 70-year-old, and you'll lose that trade-off every time. His "righty/lefty" DH pattern was a bust a lot of times. I guess I feel like the things that a manager CAN control, are the things he really wasn't that good at. He's had a shit-load of talent the last three seasons, and didn't get it done.

After some time to settle down some. Josh is a great player. Did he "quit" on the team, we will never know.

    Is he the key? NO.

    Is he easily replaced? NO.

Will he be a Ranger in 2013?.... I say no. Red Sox. Hell they signed Dice K

Seattle would dry up any talent for hitting he has left... there's something about safeco field that just sucks ability out of players.

I would like to see Hamilton playing for another team in the AL West. Best bet is Seattle, maybe Houston.

I agree with you on not being able to hold up in New York, if I'm reading right it looks like Gardner was on a 1 year contract at that start of this year?

The Yankees could re-sign Ichiro... and he's a better player than Hamilton. Hamilton's best bet is to accept whatever the Rangers offer him and be happy. That way he doesn't have to relocate his family and his appointed Man-nanny to another city.

This is bullshit. To have the best fucking team in baseball for 4 Months, and we basically acted like it was already done and its the postseason. HELLO, YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME. Hamilton, get the fuck out of DFW now. Darvish gets the loss on a night he pitched great. Why did coke head put Holland in, should've put in Uherea after Darvish. Im just beyond pissed. So pissed that the pain from my root canal is gone.

Wherever he ends up, I sure hope it isn't the outfield in Arlington.
