I'm 50/50 on Mayo, he can be good if he wants to be. He has a lot of potential.

He's been a disappointment since entering the league, but a new scenery could fix it. But Cuban knows what he's doing imo. Brand for cheap, Kaman for a year, young point guard in Collison. OJ Mayo should be solid here if Carlisle can get him to play.

Fuck!!!! I was thinking Jeremy and for some damn reason I typed out Justin.

Dwight Howard may be traded to Houston. Why aren't the Mavs involved in this???

Oh yea it will. With the luxury tax they will be charged each year for him, can't really say what the knicks will be able to do

It's easy for us to knock Cuban but the reality is the guy knows his stuff and gets things done. How quickly we forget that the Mavs were NBA champs. I know I still celebrate it and reminisce of sweeping the Lakers and beating down South Beach.

With that said, Cuban has made some great moves the past few days, and played this offseason exactly as he should have. This team could actually be pretty salty next year. Probably not title contenders, but the West is pretty even aside from the Thunder. Carlisle will get this group to play well together. We got Kaman, Jones, Collison, and Brand for next to nothing. Sounds like the rookie draft picks are playing well. I say we sign Delonte West or one of the other shooting guards to a bargain contract and play ball.

    Go Mavs!! MFFL!!!

    Marcus

Mavs signed Brand for $2.1 Million, actually that's a steal really as long as he stays healthy.

Don't give me some NBA2k type of trade.. No team will give up a lottery pick for Dirk. Do you think some team will trade a good young player for an old Dirk and that salary...

    dont worry i'll wait

Depending on what happens next summer, i can see Dirk retiring in a few years when his contract is up.
I would say tradw for some young players. Maybe a pick. Of course an all star for him but he is at the end of his career. Why not get what we can. I would rather suck hardcore for a few years and get into the draft then be average. Average doesnt win rings. Trying to look towards the future

Brand is now a Maverick. Hopefully Carlisle can get all these new parts playing together decently.
