So far the Cowboys organization have failed tried to talk him out of it. He has some personal issues that he's dealing with and the Cowboys are willing to help him out. Reports have said that he had a good shot of making the team and getting the #3 spot. He's been compared to being a Wes Welker type of receiver from coaches. Makes you wonder how serious his situation is if he's willing to give up his football career.

So now add Miles Austin to the injury list with a hamstring issue.

Dez is having enough trouble trying to stay straight!

Would be a decent pick up though. Could use the height and depending on how Austin hamstring if it stays healthy (if it gets there) we might need him. Ew.

Supposedly Jerry shot it down. Stephen Jones has been on record as saying they won't overlook him.

i hate all the BS you get from the Jerry or Stephen. They'll probably wait till players get cut to find a #3 WR.

I'm perfectly fine with that, too. That said, there won't be another player cut that will produce like Robinson did. I wish his performance last season hadn't commanded such a high amount for a new contract. I wish they had the space to lock him up for 2-3 years at a basement price prior to his unreal season.

true but Romo made him a paid man. I wish he was here but no one can blame him for chasing the chooo choo train money.
He's struggling being the main man in Jacksonville.
Robinson is nothing but a decent #2 and a really good #3 WR.

I dont want a washed up Ocho Cinco or Lee Evans... someone should fall to us.

Oh, I agree. I just mean I wish they had the cap space to lock him up for 2-3 years when they first got him. Robinson is a very solid #2. And with defenses focusing on Dez and Austin, that's why he went off like he did. That, and solid passes.

I don't want Johnson or Burress either.

sure they do. Dez in the first quarter, Austin in the 2nd quarter, Witten the rest of the game.
