So far the Cowboys organization have failed tried to talk him out of it. He has some personal issues that he's dealing with and the Cowboys are willing to help him out. Reports have said that he had a good shot of making the team and getting the #3 spot. He's been compared to being a Wes Welker type of receiver from coaches. Makes you wonder how serious his situation is if he's willing to give up his football career.

I'm perfectly fine with that, too. That said, there won't be another player cut that will produce like Robinson did. I wish his performance last season hadn't commanded such a high amount for a new contract.
