It is funny reading some of the comments on Oakland from their fans. Half of the fans (the intelligent ones) are wondering WTF Al Davis is thinking. The other half couldn't agree more with him. Blows my mind!

Mangini is a good cordinator but not a head coach. As for Tom Cable i dont know what Al Davis is thinking. The Raiders were better this year than in years past. McFadden had a monster year, and finally became the RB that we all thought he would be coming out of college.

Jerry is right in line with Davis. 10 years from now, Jerry will be pulling the same stunts.

Tom Cable is unlikely to return as the Oakland Raiders' coach, a league source said Sunday.

Raiders owner Al Davis is expected to survey the coaching landscape, and he will not decide Cable's future until some time in the middle of the month.

With a 31-10 victory over the AFC West champion Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, Cable led the Raiders to an 8-8 record this season, including a perfect 6-0 mark in the division. But Cable is 17-27 overall since taking over as coach in the middle of the 2008 season.

Cable presently doesn't have an official contract with the Raiders, but Davis can pick up an option for two more years.

I think he should get another year.... Honestly.

yea that wasnt a suprise even though I dont think it was his fault for their record. They drafted Jimmy Clausen who was overrated in my opinion. I think Colt McCoy would've been the better choice. Clausen didnt do much, and it shows how bad their scouting team is when they are looking at another QB in Andrew Luck. Deangelo Williams got injured and Jonathan Stewart was banged up. Steve Smith is starting to hit the backside of his career.
