No offense to Dallas but if I'm not mistaken Denver has the better record against Dallas. Although we did lose a Super Bowl to Dallas.

This is how I think it will go down.

Miami Dolphins - Tony Sparano - He's done due to poor performance and new front office.
Houston Texans - Garry Kubiak - He's done due poor performance
Tennessee Titans - Jeff Fisher - will be back.
Cleveland Browns - Eric Mangini - will be back. he made good progress this year.
Jacksonville Jaguars - Jack Del Rio - back if they make the playoffs.. otherwise he's out.
San Diego chargers - Norv Turner - put a fork in him, he's done.
Carolina Panthers - John Fox - contract expires next week with no renewal.
Cincinnati Bengals - Marvin Lewis - contract expires but I think there is a small chance he'll be back...
New York Giants - Tom Coughlin - he's done if they miss the playoffs. IMO NY is Cowher's destination.


Bill Cowher - most likely to end up with the Giants or Texans
Wade Phillips - someones DC next year.
Josh McDaniels - he may never get another NFL HC job.
John Gruden - Denver? Miami? back in the booth? hard to call.
Jason Garrett - I'll be amazed if he isn't the Cowboy's HC next season.
Tony Dungey - He's done with NFL coaching. At best he'll go to the college level. IMO many teams would like him but he's moved on with his life.


I also think there is a very very small chance that Shannahan will be fired. Danny Boy Snyder is pissed about the whole McNabb thing and he's a very unpredictable owner.

IMO the Vikings will not retain Leslie Frazier. He's a great guy but I think the owner looks at him strictly as in interim coach...

I'm not sure about Jim Schwartz. I know he's only had two seasons but there is little progress. IMO it depends on how much sympathy the teams injuries buy him..

Cardinals Ken Whisenhunt is probably done too. I think he'll get the blame for not having a suitable replacement for Warner. It seems that everyone but him knew that Leinart was a failure in waiting. He had no back up plan and the team got burned bad for it.

here is some stuff i read about, and im not 100 percent sure on this but I think its close. For people wanting Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, Brian Billuck, and guys that were good on their old teams but retired or fired and too a break. Out of all the head coaches, only 3 have led a team to a Super Bowl Appearance and took a break and then came back with another team years later and took that team to the Super Bowl. Those are Dick Vermil, Bill Parcells, and Dan Reeves.

Also, the only reason why the media is talking about these guys plus Jeff Fisher and some others cause they are known by the media. I can bet the media didnt know a thing about Mike Smith, Mike Tomlin, John Harbourgh.

There was a big article in the Houston Chronical about the Texans getting Fisher. The article pointed to the fact that outside of his tenure as a head coach in the league, he hasn't done anything.

wow someone should do more research. Fisher is a good HC and if he does get fired then he'd have a job later that same day
