Looks like the important cuts made it through waivers, that's good news for the future.

yeah, when i saw that, all I could think is they got some bad news about Witten, but aren't releasing it.

Why else would they get another TE?

We do use a lot of two TE sets. Maybe they wanted more bodies in case Witten has problems, or someone else goes down.
