    ^ This, he is a very savy business man, give it a few years and you might be pleasantly supprised how this all shakes out. While it results ina few down years he has put the team in the position to scoop up talent for reasonable $$ when the other teams have to start dumping them. I hope he gets to pick and choose and assemble a good, young team that makes the mavs a contender for years to come. The one benefit of this season is that I would not mind seeing OJ Mayo come back, it will be interesting how he and Dirk work together as they get some time on the court.

    Eh, i don't think he lost interest. I think he wants to be more fiscally responsible now and he feels teams that are paying crazy salaries are going to get bit by the new labor agreement and salary cap taxes.
