Surprising little 2 game win streak going. I know, stop the presses. Going up against Sacramento tonight at AAC. Kings have been struggling so it's looking like the Mavs game to lose on paper. Which at this point may very well be case.

The only saving grace i can think of is they are treading water thru the easiest part of their schedule without Dirk. If they can manage to stay around the .500 mark till his return maybe they can make a late push for the playoffs.

Yeah, it could get ugly here in a couple weeks. From Dec 20 to Jan 2 their schedule looks like this:
    vs Miami
    @ Memphis
    @ SA Spurs
    @ OKC
    vs Denver
    vs SA Spurs
    @ Washington
    @ Miami

At this point, only Denver and Washington look winnable. I hope they show some heart and steal a game somewhere. Sad to say, but I think I'd be satisfied with 3-5 through that stretch.

OJ Mayo just dumped 40 on the Rockets with a 116 to 109 win.

The Mavs are just a really really bad team right now. They can't rebound, play defense, and lack any really consistent scoring options. They also now have another 38 year old point guard running the team. Plus, there really playing the softest part of their schedule right now. As they are constructed, i don't see them making the playoffs.

101-78 loss to the Bulls just now. LOLOL. This team is official in the shit, heading for the bottom of the division.

Overall shooting tonight a miserable .346 following a putrid 4th quarter .316. Rofl!

14 turnover, 26 fouls, 3 technicals, and got out rebounded 49 to 78. Man the lifeboats! We're goin' down!!!

Mavs are in a downward spiral with no signs of slowing. Hang on for a rough ride!

Mavs need a 4th quarter comeback bad. Just get a few 3s and a few stops to at least make it interesting....fuck.

Dirk has me kind of worried. I don't know if he is going to be the same when he gets back. However, the team has played far better than I expected them to without him in the line-up.
