this shit blows man....again, I thought Brandon Wright got fouled at the end by Bogut when he pulled up for the shot and Bogut's block on his shot earlier was very fucking questionable as to being goaltending

As I said in my post....last call on Mayo was complete bullshit and the league confirmed it. However, it shouldn't have been that close late in the game anyways with a 21 point lead.

According to the NBA, an official’s call with 1.5 seconds left in Tuesday’s Mavericks 106-104 loss to the Trail Blazers was incorrect.

“Officials called a charging foul on Dallas’ OJ Mayo. After review at the league office, the video replay confirmed the play should have been ruled a blocking foul as Portland’s Ronnie Price did not get his body directly in Mayo’s path prior to him starting his upward shooting motion. Mayo should have been granted two free throws.”

Dallas was in talks with Memphis and Toronto about a 3 team trade that would send Jose Calderon from Toronto to here. However Dallas backed out cause Memphis wanted Vince Carter.

    From Mark Stein
Mavs were indeed interested in Calderon, as they've been for ages, but refused to part w/Vince Carter and thus couldn't trump Prince & Daye

Ya I remember that. Lots of little things lead up to the loss. We blew a lead and allowed them to get back into the game. Plus it seems we've always had problems winning in Portland. I remember that game in the playoffs during the championship season that we blew a lead like that. I think this is going to be the hardest game during this road trip, hopefully it will be the only loss.

This will sound funny, but with about 4:50 left in the 4th, Dirk missed a little turnaround jumper (that he makes in his sleep), and I thought, "Aw shit, here we go."
