Dirk is back. Even though the Spurs are currently winning its nice to see him back on the court.

At his request, the Mavs released Derek Fisher today. At this point, i don't even know if they really have a point guard anymore.

The ship is sinking. I don't even want them to sneak into the playoffs. Best bet would be to get a lottery pick and start the rebuild process.

Horrible game last night. Mayo went 3 for 14, Marion went 5 for 14, and Crowder went 5 for 13.

    Good shootin', guys!!!

Last rumor I heard was for his return in mid January. Can't come soon enough.

Good sign, can't come soon enough!

The Mavericks announced Wednesday that forward Dirk Nowitzki has participated in a full practice for the first time since undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his right knee two months ago. ESPNDallas.com reports that Nowitzki still has no timetable for a return to game action and Mavs.com reports that he is open to easing back into the lineup by coming off the bench.

The progress is welcome news in Dallas, as the All-Star forward has been a little bit behind early expectations for his recovery timeline. The Mavericks announced in October that they expected him to be able to resume basketball activity within six weeks and that timeline was pushed back earlier this month.

Nowitzki, 34, played in just one of Dallas’ preseason games and has been sidelined for all 25 of the team’s regular season games. In his absence, the Mavericks are 12-13 and in fourth place in the Southwest Division, trailing the Rockets by half a game.

LOL...Yeah I feel the same when Mavs lose. I was looking at standings and boy NBA really hates Spurs...they have already played 27 games to this day. Most of the other teams have only played 21-24 games.

But Spurs will still win over 50 games

Good win by the Mavs over the Sixers last night. They needed it, still below .500 I believe

WAY too many turnovers is what really killed them. I was hoping they would pull off a win last night too.

Man the Houston vs. Spurs game last night was a monster game for Lin, especially with The Beard sitting on the bench. Didn't get to watch the game as I was at work but watched the highlights earlier. Mavs with a nice little winning streak, caught the last quarter on the way home last night on the radio. Kaman is really turning out to be a scoring machine when it comes to Mavs Centers. Can't wait to his ankle heals up and Dirk returns.
