It's even funnier reading/hearing what the lawyer was saying on The Herd this morning. Didn't sound too smart. Then again, what kind of lawyer says "yes" to go on a talk show??

If he can't make money off of his name, no one should. Case Closed. That goes for any college sports star.

Like I give a fuck what he does. The NCAA doesn't want kids profiting off their names because they don't want the competition.

Wow. RT @Andy_Staples: Emmert says NCAA selling those goods is "a mistake." "We're going to exit that kind of business immediately."

    Dennis Dodd ‏@dennisdoddcbs 3m
Mark Emmert says that http://NCAASports.com is basically done as a business. Will continue selling NCAA-related gear.

I don't think so, but if they think of him as Johnny's agent, then that's a whole other situation.

I would imagine if that's proven, it wouldn't be a violation. If NCAA is checking bank records, etc, they will get to the bottom of it.

A half dozen sources have said that, among other things, Nate Fitch helped run a Johnny Manziel autograph business. He’s the unknown hole at the center of a famous person’s scandal, both caught up in events and a driver of those events.
