True but he's still an effective late inning lefty. The Darren Oliver factor is in play.

Neal Cotts was claimed by someone yesterday, probably the Tigers or Royals. He's pretty valuable this late in the season.

I'm sure that's what he was referring to...overall. If we're gonna stink this might, we might as well tank to make sure we get the 1st draft pick.

That and hope/pray we don't get boned over by not being able to work out a contract. Daz wants to play so I'm not worried about him but most of the other potential first rounders are high school seniors already committed or college juniors.

The Rockies are NL, it's not real likely. I kind of hope we do end up dead last overall though, Daz Cameron should be every bit as good as his dad and he'll be going top 3 in the draft.
