well, at least he isn't going to put much of a hit on our salary cap. They have plenty of money to still spend, especially if they really did restructure Scandrick.

This could work out to be a nice wheeling and dealing draft, with the QB nonsense surrounding Winston, Mariota, Rivers, etc, and the way things are shaking out across the league, this suspension being one of them. Some seem to think that 5-6 receivers could be taken before the Cowboys pick, which means Gurley, Gordon, or both could be available when they pick at 27. They could have the potential to take either. But if both are still there, I say they should trade down to acquire more picks.

They could have gotten plenty of money several other ways outside of a Romo restructure, but probably not gotten that much total space. They are preparing to do something or at least having "just in case" space.

Word is he had said in some interview that he was going to restructure his signing contract money if the Cowboys got him. It's going to happen. Why else would they restructure Romo's contract. Hardy's contract affects next year's cap. They were only 1.5 over the cap because of McClain's resigning. They don't need much to pay contracts to their draft class. You don't restructure your QB's money because of that. They're posturing for what has been predicted ever since A.P. was suspended from the NFL and that conversation that was released between him and Jerry......He's going to play for Dallas. Wether you like it or not. I'd bet both my balls on that. Lol....wait, no , I'm not a betting man. It'll happen though. Just wait and see......
