Nope. No Bush or McFadden either, imo. Cowboys have inquired about the remaining FA backs, but said they will most likely replace him in the draft.Originally posted by mstng86 View PostSpiller?Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

You obviously don't know what your talking about, Oakland offered him a lot more and he refused to go, he wanted to go to a team with a chance to winOriginally posted by J&T's 82 View PostLet the Eagles have Murray.....Good riddance! He was chasing the money and 42 mil was all he could squeeze. IMO 8 mil is not the issue but 5 years is to a 27 year old running back who hasn't stayed healthy until recently. Heck Foster inked a bigger 5 year deal 3 years ago. The good news is that Foster will be 30 when his deal ends and if he has any gas in the tank, he might get offered a 2 year deal. The Eagles will regret paying Murray in years 4 and 5.

If that were truly the case, he would have stuck with the team that was actually in the playoffs last year. Not to mention the Eagles have Mark Sanchez and a QB that has now had TWO torn ACLs.Originally posted by bonnie&clyde View PostYou obviously don't know what your talking about, Oakland offered him a lot more and he refused to go, he wanted to go to a team with a chance to win
The Cowboy's chances of winning a SuperBowl next year is a helluva lot better than it is with the Eagles.

Hell, they overpaid Sanchez to be a back up QB, too, unless they plan on making him the starter and trading Bradford and picks to get a better pick. But if Murray was lured in with the promise of playing with Bradford, maybe they are going to keep him. That's stupid money for a QB to ride the bench.Originally posted by blownaltered View PostRyan Mathews signed deal with philly, $12 million for 3 years. So they are spending some money on running backs up there.
I hate Philly, but I'm keeping my eye on their QB situation because my cousin is the #4 guy currently, behind spare ass Barkley. That means practice squad for now, but at the 3 spot, he suits up and makes league minimum.

I am sure there were a lot of inflated numbers rumored for Murray. If I were his agent, I would be the one spreading them. There are a lot better contenders than Philly who could have made the same 42 mil dollar deal happen.Originally posted by bonnie&clyde View PostYou obviously don't know what your talking about, Oakland offered him a lot more and he refused to go, he wanted to go to a team with a chance to win
