I'm a mid handicapper and I can't tell Don anything. I know my game and I know I could use a good golfer to help my game out. Golf is the HARDEST sport I have ever played, and I love it for that reason.
Sure I have good distance but I am most proud of my short game and putting.
I don't lose my temper on the course and I respect the game of golf. The only time I don't have fun with someone golfing is if they throw clubs or get pissed often on the course. Sure... we all do it at times, but 5 to 6 times a round is just not cool with me.
Don has a great love for the game of golf, and I hope he takes to heart all this good advice better golfers are telling him. It is the person swining the club, or the Indian as Don would say, but come on bro, go buy you some game improvement cavity backs, get the swing on a better plane, and start kicking golf's ass!
I use fucking Mizuno MX-17 Cavity backs for God's Sake, don't be too pround to accept what ya really need. As Gates said on Sunday.... why make golf harder????Comment

Right tool for the job. Cavity backs are the right tool for the vast majority of golfers, including many pros. If there are pros that can benefit from the technology, I'm sure it can help me too.Comment

Nice post. Don is too proud and feels that he has the answers as to why he thinks he needs forged blades. But, he is a good guy and loves the game and is determined to get better...but his way of getting better isnt working. He needs to open his mind to advice from people that have been in his shoes. Whatever dude...you have a nice on plane swing and dont try to do too much. Your problem is coming out of your swing early and either pushing it right or hitting it fat.
