Rangers got pretty lucky last night with the starting pitcher for the Angels pulling up lame. That is going to affect the rest of the series. The Angels bullpen is going to be short handed.

With 40 games left, I'd rather be lucky than good.

7-1 in the 7th now. Holland is cruising right along tonight having only thrown 71 pitches in 6 innings. At this pace and barring any trouble, he should have a complete game.

Holland was strong into the bottom of the 9th. He's given up 2 runs to make it 7-3. Feliz now on to try and get the last out.

Hamilton, Young, and Moreland all had a big night at the plate. Even if Texas splits on the last two, it will be a huge success.

This is true. Their offense looks terrible and they are probably just too young to handle a division race.

They don't have a single .300 hitter, even the Mariner's are laughing at their offense. Throw Santana and Weaver on the mount back to back though and they'd do pretty good in a best of 5 series.

Herin is no slouch either. They have a good starting rotation. But the Rangers seem to do good against most pitchers, whether they are aces or journey men.

They could be indeed. However, the Rangers lead went from 1.5 to 6 games just like that. Rangers could hit a funk and it could turn around quickly. Especially with Boston on the schedule 7 times over the next 3 week. We have played Boston well recently, but you never know.
