I am looking for a set of knives right now, and while I would love a high end set, they are just not in the budget right now. I did however come across these two sets and am trying to decide between the two.
I have never heard of these myself.....

This is a lost art, really. I can't think of another person like him, that has the grasp on that craft like he does. A dying breed for sure. It is definitely some cool shit. I want a set, but realistically, I just want to get my hands on a 10" Chef's knife before he checks out. I'd be happy with that.

There are cheap Henkels too, but that does not appear to be one of them.

Depending on what all you require, a set could run well north of $15,000. And HIGHLY unlikely that you can even get a full set. Due to the amount of time it takes to manufacture, and the fact that he's a one man show, and the demand for his knives, you have to get on a lottery list to even get one. And even then, you're not guaranteed to get anything. Or you can bid via private auction on his site.
