Yes that's perfectly fine and usually much easier since the start of my day is making sure 30+ guys on 3 seperate sides of the plant are working and not standing with a thumb up their ass.

I normally know all sales right before 2 pm. Somethings we may only have 1 or 2 cases of that's why I tell people I need to know ASAP. If there is something super cheap like 32 pounds of hamburger meat for $50 and only 1 case I'll usually buy it myself and if no one wants it ill just cram it in the deep freeze . I work from about 2:30 to midnight but the first couple hours is getting my crews started and dealing with phone calls from trucking companies so the later in the evening is the best time for me normally.

Eagerly waiting. BTW, what time are you there till? I'd like to jump in on some of your offers but I don't get off till 5:30 and have probably an hour and a half drive up there with traffic.

i have a couple people that like to come after 8 pm just to avoid the traffic all together and some that come close to the end of my shift . Really any time past 6 is best for me

I have had one person ask me to bring it home with my since I live about 15 miles from 35 and I don't mind I just don't want my neighbors thinking I'm a drug dealer with new people always at my house. Normally sales run strongest in summer and when it cools off they drop off to maybe a couple times a month due to running different product. I can order anything I want on wednesday and have it cut and ready Thursday as well. Special ordering it may not be as cheap as catching things on sale but it still far outweighs buying anything from the store. This is usually when I order all my pork chops. Anything I order myself I always know price and weight before I pay for anything so I can make sure it's a good deal . People tend to forget that prices do change and change daily so one day something super cheap may be more the next day.

You might be on to something. I cant get up there most of the times that he has available since it is 2 hours one way from my house. I did get to pick up some from one of the guys who was headed up there.
