Even with the cost of gas, you put two 18# ribeye primals for $60 that is a $100 trip.

Considering the meat - if you bought it retial - is close to $350-400 worth of steaks you are getting an amazing deal.

I've almost eaten all my ribeyes and NY strips so I'm back in shopping mode. I haven't bought any meat from the market in at least 6mo or more. I honestly can't remember the last time.

Yea, and the Ribeye concerns me. I really don't have a place to let it age right now.

Distance is just an excuse. I live about 1-1/2 hours from Sherman and I've met up with him about 4 or 5 times so far.

Oh I am watching his posts. I just am waiting for a couple of deals in one day to make it worth my wild. I have to take Into account the gas. Its probably going to cost 30-40 for me to drive there and back.

Just picked up some strip steaks, a primal, and some ground beef. All of it looks perfect. I vacuum sealed the ground beef and precut steaks. My primal is aging for a few weeks now before I trim it. I can't wait to fire up the grill.
