Chicken fried steak, roasted potatoes, and bacon cooked green beans, and 1broccoli cheese casarole. Steak is a marinated ribeye.

Yesterdays dinner: Crawfish season is back, just expensive

Tonights dinner. Smoked a chicken and some sausage. I also made some cajun rice which I added some sausage to. That shit was good and could make a meal on its own. Next time I'll also add some shrimp to it along with the sausage.

Sauteed shrimp, seared scallops, and mushroom risotto. It was balls.

That honestly just looks like a pilaf to me. A proper risotto will be cooked in broth until it has a creamy consistency. Yours just looks like rice cooked/steamed until most of the moisture was cooked out. Not dogging your dish at all though, it actually looks very appetizing, just doesn't look like what I know to be a true risotto.
