Of course you can't because even brain damaged as I am, you can't out debate me on why some should pay more when some pay zero.

They caused the housing bubble, failed to pass a budget which allowed the government to increase spending as they felt like it, Obama blew through 1.2 trillion in 3 months of taking office not to mention the rest of his spending which destabilized the country, then went through quantative easing dumping more money into our economy that was backed by nothing, lowering the value of the dollar.

Then there was his unconstitutional war in Libya which is costing a fortune, his illegal bypassing of bankruptcy laws in GM and Chrysler which again, destabilized the market, then cash for clunkers which effected parts, wrecking yards, used car sales....want me to keep going or are you ready to run and hide again?

And so what if they pay 17%? According to you, they pay other taxes as well so it's fine. Go after those who pay no federal income tax before increasing taxes on anyone. Afterall, paying taxes is patriotic and we all have to have skin in the game, right?

You're also a delusional jackass.

It's hilarious that you want to go after people making ~$50k/yr but raising taxes on the extremely wealthy, who only pay about 17% anyway due to a shitty tax code, is taboo. You're out of your kool-aid drinking mind.

You need to check your sources, broski. You're WAY off-base here.

Please, name the policies that led to massive unemployment. Yes Durantula, let's look at some democrat policies. Like Frank saying FAnny and Freddie was fine and didn't need looking after, or the "Everyone deserves a house" program under Clinton.
Pelosi was speaker in the '90s and early '00s?? My history must be off...

We've already gone over this. For starters, your base statement is absolutely false because it implies that 47% of the country doesn't pay a dime in taxes. That's obviously not true. Federal income taxes aren't the only taxes people pay. CBO data suggests only about 10% pay absolutely zero federal income taxes. Your silly statistic also fails to mention that about three-quarters of all American households pay more in payroll taxes, which go toward Medicare and Social Security, than in income taxes. The picture starts to change when you look not just at income taxes but at all taxes. This average household would have paid 0.8 percent of its income in corporate taxes (through the stocks it owned), 0.9 percent in gas and other federal excise taxes, and 9.5 percent in payroll taxes. Add these up, and the family’s total federal tax rate was 14.2 percent.

Sorry, but you can't spew deceptive statistics at me and expect me not to fact-check them.

Edit: And yeah, those "estimates" were made using CBO numbers and BLS, not numbers some dude just made up in his basement.

Edit 2: You know what, coming from the guy who said that 46% of people don't pay any taxes, you're probably asking a serious question. And to imply it has anything to do with Pelosi being Speaker instead of the economic collapse the country faced is absolutely hilarious.
I'm not saying it was caused by Pelosi. I'm saying when Dems took over, their policies started the collapse.
