Has this been adjusted for the wars on Iraq since 03 at 797.3 Billion and Afghanistan at 459.8 Billion since 01 equaling 1.26 Trillion dollars?

True, I was posting in reference to this site. My recollection of the characters who posted in the Politics/GWOT terror foruim on Canada is fading fast though, except for a few standouts like the Iranian ex-pat, gpampers, and bullitt (sp?).

I think of govt as more of household than I do a buisness.
If a household is bringing in $50k/year but live beyond its means and has top tier uverse, dsl, huge amounts of shopping, amusment costs and then even donates to the poor. Only thing is they go beyond that check every 2 weeks and charges the credit cards. Before you know it you are $100k in debt. Do you go get another credit card to cover the mortgage or do you call ATT and have the uverse and dsl cut off and take the credit cards away from your daughter and tell the homeless shelter you will be back when you can AFFORD it?
Fuck getting another credit card when you cant manage the ones you already have!

And we will continue to do so. lmao @ government being a business. Jesus Christ. Were you dropped on your head repeatedly as a child?Originally posted by 564826 View PostYou can call me an idiot all you fucking want but sooner or later you are going to have to raise more revenue to make your business prosper. No you don't. Not in this instance. This is like a business collecting 1 million in sales within a year, paying 4 employees $50,000 a year and the owner taking $100,000 with another $100,000 in material and overhead... But the accountant buys brand new work trucks and houses for every employee, pays their food/rent/gas/child support/alimony/school/retirement/insurance... Then wonders how they spent 1.2 million.Originally posted by 564826 View PostYou can call me an idiot all you fucking want but sooner or later you are going to have to raise more revenue to make your business prosper. It's called frivolous spEnding that exceeds realistic needs and a realistic budget.
Try thinking. Maybe people wouldn't call you an idiot.

Businesses can't just "create" revenue at will, especially in this economic climate. You run lean and mean, hence the very reason unemployment is high.Originally posted by 564826 View PostYou need to bring in revenues sooner or later to make a business profitable.
You can't "spend" your way to prosperity, either. Credit cards come due and "No-Neck" Guido will come get your car.
This presidents' dicretionary spending has risen 84%! 84%! It's ludicrous...
