The same thing that happens now. You have a teacher who uses their personal weapon to kill people. Accidental shooting? They're not going to be waiving it around. It'll be on them, secured in the holster.

Until a teacher leaves a gun in her purse, bag, or desk then gets called out of the room for something and an accident happens because a curious student found a gun.

While it's not going to be a common occurance it places an an unnecessary risk in the classroom.

Put a Military Policemen in each school in America. Make it an assignment. They are trained to protect and do active shooter drills a lot. Lets take some of these guys we are waisting training retards over seas and stick them in our schools, so the last thing our precious children see is some emo shit stain firing a gun at them.

You can pass all the legislations that you want, people will find ways to commit violent acts like the one that occurred today. Would arming every teacher solve this?? Maybe. But what happens when one of those teachers flips out? What happens when there's an accidental shooting?? Laws can't stop evil.

Thanks for your post. your statistics were dead on and I never knew that violent crime is in fact almost half where it was in the early 90s. I am not and have not ever advocated the banning of guns. If I was ever personally put into a situation that warranted action, I'd be fortunate to have my own weapon with me. I guess my concerns are more for how to protect those out there who cant or wont protect themselves.

I didn't say it wasn't a tragedy. It is. It doesn't affect the entire country though, so it doesn't need national level legislation. The politicians that would use this kind of tragedy to increat their power over you don't deserve your support, dude.

While I understand human nature is to ask 'why would someone do this?' I can't help but wonder why people even try to understand things like this. People who get to this point aren't in their right mind, no amount of analyzing will fix what has happened, unfortunately.

The evils in this world will continue to do evil things, all we as a society can do is protect ourselves and our families to the best of our abilities, and hope that nothing this horrific ever happens to the ones we love.
