    Until a teacher leaves a gun in her purse, bag, or desk then gets called out of the room for something and an accident happens because a curious student found a gun.

    While it's not going to be a common occurance it places an an unnecessary risk in the classroom.

    Put a Military Policemen in each school in America. Make it an assignment. They are trained to protect and do active shooter drills a lot. Lets take some of these guys we are waisting training retards over seas and stick them in our schools, so the last thing our precious children see is some emo shit stain firing a gun at them.

    You can pass all the legislations that you want, people will find ways to commit violent acts like the one that occurred today. Would arming every teacher solve this?? Maybe. But what happens when one of those teachers flips out? What happens when there's an accidental shooting?? Laws can't stop evil.

    Thanks for your post. your statistics were dead on and I never knew that violent crime is in fact almost half where it was in the early 90s. I am not and have not ever advocated the banning of guns. If I was ever personally put into a situation that warranted action, I'd be fortunate to have my own weapon with me. I guess my concerns are more for how to protect those out there who cant or wont protect themselves.
