It will be under the Feinstein "screw all you pro-gun people" orders that will be passed at 2am in some federal court in a liberal state like California or Washington where they can find some liberal federal judge that will agree with their argument..specifically citing Las Vegas as reasonable justification. Personally I think bumpstocks are retarded....but admittedly they are "fun" to play with if you have the extra ammo on hand. I agree that giving an inch is allowing a mile...so I will completely stand behind them remaining legal and unregulated...allowing them to ban bumpstocks will open the floodgates for EVERY accessory or modification that exists down to scopes, lasers, tripod mounts, magazines, accessory rails, stocks, trigger modifications, suppressors...and basically ANYTHING else that exists. These gun grabbers will NEVER stop or accept compromise until they have come into our homes and taken every last firearm from our hands.

Making or having a machine gun is not the illegal part. What they charge you with and send you to prison for is not paying the 200 dollar tax. Someone with some nuts could send the Feds a 200 dollar check with the guns serial number on it and if they get caught with the gun the Feds would be fucked if they got the person into court assuming the person could produce the canceled check. The tax stamp many of us are so fond of collecting is just the 1930s way of giving you an offical recipt for paying the tax.
