We hope to have more done today. The sitting wall is about 75% stoned in minus the cap. Grill area is coming along nicely too.
Back of the sitting ledge

Work so far on the fire pit

shitty night pic of the inside of the curved sitting ledge. the openings in the stone with the black wire are for the deck lights.

I hear you, no one wants to be here. I just got back and I am ready to leave. I just spent the last two hours searching for jobs on the internet.Originally posted by cobrajet69 View PostAt least yu hav a yob.

Not much progress yesterday. A guy came out and cleaned the concrete off and left in a huge hurry for some reason not to return.
Hopefully they get somework in today.

based on what they charged me on my overlay, expect about $2,800-3,000Originally posted by likeitfast55 View PostWho did that "overlay'? That is what I want done to my 15x15 patio!
Anyone here do this?

David already said it but we are using BMR Pools and Patio out of Lewisville. My rep there is Sam Brown (female).

I need to get up early and move the gas pipe coming up in the fire pit. Off by 8 inches.
No I am not doing it myself. I discovered the other day a shovel does not fit my hands very well (I tried at least two).
As far as the cost, I am way over budget but I wanted it done right. For the money I am paying, if it is not done right I am going to explode. BMR Pools is doing the entire job. Next up is landscape. More pics tomorrow after they pour.Originally posted by likeitfast55 View PostWho did that "overlay'? That is what I want done to my 15x15 patio!
