When I was a kid we bought some praying mantis..es. Those suckers were pretty neat! And they ate all kinds of pests.

Don't buy ladybugs they are a waste. Half of them are dead, and the other half go to your neighbors lawn.

They will leave if they don't have enough aphids to eat. As long as you have plenty of aphids, you should have plenty of ladybugs stick around.
