you just have to build it out right. You still need a wood wall on the inside of the metal wall. I have seen a couple very nice "apartments" built in. You'd never know it was a metal building other than from the outside. Even then you can brick it to make it look nicer.

I just like a more conventional type of house. Thats just me. My wifes cousin has a 3600sqft building with 1800 living and 1800 shop. It is very nice on the inside.

When I was single I wanted to build a giant shop 100x80 and build a 1200sqft apt inside as the second story then a clean room below it for storage and engine assembly type stuff. I still would if the wife would go for it. Then build a dream home.
