I would have liked to see them on a ROAD COURSE.Originally posted by ceyko View PostI think the 350Z driver had no racing experience and should have practiced a little before coming out.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.

Oh, I have no doubt about that, especially most of the courses. However, I AM poking fun at the 350 douche calling the autocross a road course.Originally posted by Neil View PostThe 350 still woulda got its shit rocked.Originally posted by Taya Kyle, American GunThere comes a time when honest debate, serious diplomatic efforts, and logical arguments have been exhausted and only men and women willing to take up arms against evil will suffice to save the freedom of a nation or continent.

Poor dude is getting pure hell on his forum and hes a mod there.Originally posted by jdgregory84 View PostPower isn't everything...but apparently it's a lot of things.
How do you "baby" 240rwhp? I predicted a slaughter when the 350z guy said that his car is far from stock and his first mentioned mod was his wheels.
When asked about mods he listed proper mods but they edited it to just those three things.
Whats even worse is Maddox (2011 GT Owner) pulled a 7.7 on the slalom but they didnt show it cause it was too bad of a beating. He also pulled a 12.2 and 12.3 in the quarter but again it was such a bad beating they edited it to make it look closer.Good judgment comes from bad decisions and a lot of that comes from bad judgment.

In all fairness he did list his proper mods. As I had stated earlier they edited it out and made him sound like a ricer. Really is a nice Z car but he needs a little more work on driving it.Originally posted by onemeangixxer7502 View PostAnswers to what? Fair enough. Some background if I may.Originally posted by onemeangixxer7502 View PostAnswers to what? If you're referring to that sorry ass competition nothing really needs answered.
Royal Purple was originally looking for a 370z to represent our forum. Unfortunately, no one stepped up. As crunch time came down, I offered to represent our forum with my 350z. I've never dragged or autocrossed and knew I'd lose the bout, but we needed a car to represent our forum. I gave it my best shot.
Fair enough also. I'll give it a try though. Here was my basic response to 1 topic on the site I frequent:Originally posted by onemeangixxer7502 View PostI love how people list shit like lug nuts and wheels as mods.lol

I admit I'm a bit disappointed with the results, but Val did his best. The editing definitely did not help.Originally posted by vo7848I agree Chris. I had a great time overall and am thankful I was atleast given this opportunity to participate in an event like this. However, throughout the day I sensed their urgency for me to "talk aggressively" in a few interviews. One particular time I had to flat out tell the gentleman that I wasn't going to say what he asked me to say.
The mod list was actually a long interview. The 4 second clip was edited from about 15mins of the entire mod listing interview. They basically had me walk around the car with them, while they asked me to describe everything as they were video taping. I had to describe the entire vehicle, including interior. There were simple questions like, "What size wheels are you running?" Well, the answer is "19inch all around." You can't get anymore simple of an answer than that. When you arrive to the engine bay, they ask, "Please describe what engine mods you have." Well you answer. Mine was, "Engine oil cooler, plenum spacer, cold air intake, and Uprev tune." It's out of my control what makes the cut for the show.
The driving part, I can accept like a man. I went out and gave it my best shot. You win some, you lose some...
