This thread derailed in quick fashion. It's just a car, folks. It's got some issues that will play a role in it's marketability. However, big deal. It's a solid 7 second car. Go through a few sets of tires and have fun with it. Life goes on.

As for the car - I like it. Probably wouldn't pay what he wants for it, but like it nonetheless. From what Steve has posted, he got fucked on the deal because the dude lied through his teeth (not accusing, I've only heard one side of the story and it was incomplete at best) and that sucks for anyone. Can't blame him for trying to recoup some of his loss on it. I'd drive the piss out of it. Those door panel inserts would have to go though. That's the only thing I'd change. Well, and fix the gauges and a/c. Texas is too damn hot for that no a/c shit.

Originally posted by armbarI took some new pics for my sale ads(yes the car is for sale but not the point of this thread) and I'm bored so I thought I would post them up. It's a neat car and alot of fun to drive.

11k and desperate, so it probably sold in the 9-9.5k range if the buyer had any negotiating tact whatsoever. It's a 98 Mustang, so it isn't like it is GAINING value. Looks like Dannys high assessment of worth at 8k was about spot on. Good job, Danny!
