No GM killed Pontiac by hiring somebody who thought putting plastic panels on the outside of a rehashed GM product was a good idea instead of fighting for a more unique product and better build quality.

Aussies love thier UTEs for some reason, but I don't think the G8 Sport Truck would have sold well here. Most real trucks will seat 4.

With the Aussie dollar rising 25% in the last 4 years, GM needed to jack up the price on G8s to make money.

The G8 is one of the biggest reasons that it was stupid to kill Pontiac.

I was hoping they'd transfer it to the Impala but that got squelched by the new leadership at GM.

Thanks, Billy. Yeah, I texted Greg. I needed one of the Super Garcia Brothers to drive for the light weight driver mod to break into the mid 11s. It weighs about 4000k lbs without my fa in it.
